The Arkansas Adoption and Foster Care Act

The Family Council Action Committee is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting traditional family values in the political arena. We are located in Little Rock Arkansas. In 2004 our staff supported the successful passage of a state constitutional amendment that defines marriage in Arkansas as the union of one man and one woman. This year we are sponsoring a proposed initiated act that will prevent adoptive and foster care children from being placed in homes with individuals who are cohabiting with a sexual partner. In order to place this initiated act on the November 2008 General Election ballot we must gather petition signatures of Arkansas voters.
