Adopting or Becoming a Foster Parent

Several thousand children pass through the Arkansas foster care system each year. These children live with families in foster homes or they live in group homes operated by churches or other state and privately funded agencies. The foster children of Arkansas are in need of stable married two-parent homes as a temporary place to live. A number of these foster children are unable to return to their original homes or families. These children are in need of permanent adoption. The children of Arkansas are in need of stable married couples who will adopt.
